Graphic Novelist Mat Heagerty Visits Polson

Graphic Novelist Mat Heagerty returned to Polson this year to work with Grade 7 students on their graphic novels in language arts. Mr. Heagerty walked students through his process as a graphic novelist and helped students develop and revise their own ideas.

Graphic novels are part of the Grade 7 curriculum, which is focused on exposing students to different styles of writing such as novels in verse, screenplays, etc. As part of the unit, students are asked to practice those styles of writing.
