Hats for Tommy Fundraiser

On September 22, students participated in a fundraiser called “Hats for Tommy Fund”. The event is organized by Polson student Christian Capizzi who is helping support pediatric cancer patients at Smilow. He identified a day in September where students pay $1.00 and are allowed to wear a hat to school. All funds raised go to the Tommy Fund and Smilow Cancer Center. 

So far, Polson has raised $710 that will be donated to The Tommy Fund. Brown Intermediate School also raised $400. It was great to see so many fun hats in support of pediatric patients with cancer.
