Law Day 2025
On May 2, Polson 8th graders participated in Law Day, a decades-long tradition that is the highlight of the year. Students attended sessions during the day, brought to us from presenters including the DEA, Madison Police, CT State Police, Sky Health, the DEA, Federal Wildlife Service, DEEP, and more. Between the morning and afternoon sessions, students went outside to visit interactive displays. As a culminating event, students joined an assembly presentation from retired police lieutenant Lisa Dadio who talked about “Everything 8th graders need to know before high school.” Thank you to all our presenters, (including the canine defenders of the law!) for volunteering their time to be with us today; to the Polson PTO for providing breakfast and lunch for our speakers; and to Polson social studies teacher Art Robbins for organizing another wonderful and meaningful event.
