Polson Hosts 1st Annual 6th Grade Virtual Halloween BINGO Night

Since many traditional in-school Halloween activities were not a possibility this year, Polson staff decided to take this opportunity to start some new traditions. This year was the first annual 6th Grade Virtual Halloween BINGO Night. Several staff members and 30 students participated in the game.

Counselor Charlene Doane said the idea from the event came out of discussions around hosting virtual clubs. All students who wanted to participate picked up Bingo cards at school. Full remote students who wished to participate were sent copies of cards as well.

“The game was great and the kids were excited,” said Mrs. Doane. “The other awesome part was that each student was able to show off their costumes individually and talk a little about it. Some of them showed off their pets too which was cute. Another great addition was that a couple of the teachers had their own children with them and showed off their costumes and played the game. I think that helped build some more connections between students and staff.”
