
Polson Robotics Qualifies for 2026 VEX World Championship!
The Polson robotics team competed in CT VEX IQ State Championship on Feb. 21 in Plainville, CT and will now advance to the world championship this spring!
Team 1695S (Supernova) won the Program Excellence award, which is the highest honor a team can receive at any competition or championship. Our 1695S team composed of Sahil Sheth, Evan Felberbaum, Christian Finnegan, Ryan Speerli and Jiyao Huang was recognized for their team's overall, top tier performance across judged, engineering design, and on-field categories. The winner of this award must possess a fully developed Engineering Notebook, demonstrate a high-quality interview, rank in the top 30-40% of qualifier/skills/tournament matches, and exhibit, and show strong sportsmanship.
Two other teams from Polson competed in the State Championship as well:
1695A (The Gear Guardians): Arjun Atluri, Aiden Gonzalez-Kempsey, Silas Naraine, Patrick Minsahll and Danyal Choban.
1695C (The Mini Pekkas): Flynn Buckley, Wes Kelleher, Charles Smith, John Reveliotty and Max Dias.
