Veterans Day at Polson 2024

Polson students and staff celebrated area veterans on Monday with a Salute to Veterans assembly. Veterans from five branches of service--Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard--joined a packed auditorium where over 600 students and staff gave them a standing ovation as they entered. Students read poems, essays, and speeches to honor our visitors, many of whom were relatives of our Polson community, and the 8th grade chorus sang the songs of each branch of the service throughout the ceremony. Thank you to the Polson PTO who hosted a lovely reception for our honored guests. But most importantly, thank you, Veterans!
