Call for Artists of All Ages for 1st Annual Future VOICES Exhibition

Shoreline Arts Alliance is seeking Connecticut artists of all ages for an online exhibition that highlights engagement with current public issues, such as COVID-19.

Guilford, CT – November 9, 2020 – Shoreline Arts Alliance, a regional Arts Council in Guilford, is hosting its 1st Annual Future VOICES program, a Visual, Performing and Literary Arts Exhibition for artists, performers and creatives of all ages. This online art show will take place on the Shoreline Arts Alliance website, and encourages work that engages with current social issues.
All Connecticut school-aged children and teens, as well as adults and seniors, are encouraged to submit artwork, essays, poetry, songs, dances, and short films to the exhibition.

Entries will be accepted in the following categories: Visual Artwork, Poetry, Creative Writing and Essays, Dance, Theatre, Voice, Instrumental, and Film. Submissions should be made online, via the Shoreline Arts Alliance website. All entries must be submitted by either the artist, a teacher, or a responsible person designated by the artist. Accepted works will be displayed on our website for three months.

A painting by Earl Grenville Killeen, valued at $2,000, will be up for auction for the duration of the show in support of Shoreline Arts Alliance and Future VOICES
