Junior Achievement Comes to Ryerson Elementary
February 2020 - Junior Achievement visited Ryerson Elementary School last week. Students, with the help of their guest teachers, had a chance to learn about civic engagement, entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and financial literacy. Students listened to presentations and played educational games to help reinforce their learning.
Junior Achievement is the nation's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices according to their website. Junior Achievement's purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
