Meet Mrs. Barnikow

Maria Barnikow

Teaching has been my passion since I was a child. I have vivid memories of setting up a classroom for my toys and sharing my favorite books. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with children every day. I have been teaching since 1992 and love being part of the Island Avenue community. Each day in kindergarten is truly an adventure! When not teaching, I enjoy reading, gardening, being outside and spending time with my family and my two dogs.
