Hand Girls Varsity Lacrosse Host Movie Night for Local Female Youth Athletes

Madison, CT March 23, 2018 - The Daniel Hand Girls Varsity Lacrosse team is hosting a movie night for local female athletes, grades 3-8, in the Polson Middle School Auditorium from 6-9pm. It is a fund raiser for the team and an opportunity for young female players and parents to ask questions of high school Varsity players and future college athletes. Tickets are $10 at the door. Raffle items and snacks available.

The movie being shown in a PG/TV lacrosse movie called Keepers of the Game. In the movie the girls are fighting to win the Championship, something near and dear to the DHHS Girls Varsity team who on their pre-season t-shirts have chosen the slogan 'Unfinished Business'. The team has won the Southern CT Conference Title the past few years but is looking to also win the CIAC Class M State Championship this year. It is an inspiring film that will be followed by Q & A time with the team as well as raffle items and snacks.
The Varsity Girls lacrosse looks to local Madison female athletes to support their games and be invested in their journey. The team wants to share what they have learned along the way with girls and their families. The team hosts players recruited from multiple D1, D2 and D3 college teams. Come see an inspirational movie, ask questions, hear what it's like from a local female athlete today and help them raise the funds they need.
